For most of the year, Madison Square Garden hosts sports, concerts, and the occasional comedian. But this spring, it’s trading touchdowns for tail wags.

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is celebrating its 150th anniversary. This milestone is basically the dog equivalent of an Oscars afterparty.

This year’s show is going big: 2,500 champion dogs from all 50 U.S. states and 18 countries will strut their stuff. Every breed is represented, from tiny Chihuahuas to majestic Great Danes, proving that fur comes in every size and attitude.

And for the humans? The show-inspired menu is a star-studded lineup in its own right. Think Bake By Melissa, Funny Face Bakery, Tao, Serendipity, and Pauly G’s—all turning culinary flair into part of the pageant.

Dr. Donald Sturz, President of the Westminster Kennel Club, told reporter Joelle Garguilo that this year is about celebrating tradition. It is also about competition. Of course, it includes the glamour of it all.

The main events hit the Garden on Monday and Tuesday, so grab your tickets at westminsterkennelclub.org—because sometimes, the best show isn’t on two legs, it’s on four.
