Devotion:
Good morning, family. This is Jarvus Ricardo Hester, coming to you from the Harlem Boys Choir, where we don’t just sing notes… we lift spirits.
Today, let’s focus on God’s healing power. Healing begins with belief — faith in action. Every miracle in Scripture required both. Consider these stories:
• Blind Bartimaeus: “Jesus stopped and said, ‘Call him.’ So they called the blind man. ‘Cheer up!’ they said. ‘On your feet! He’s calling you.’ Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.” — Mark 10:49-50
• The woman with the issue of blood: “She thought, ‘If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.’ Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.” — Mark 5:28-29
• The paralytic’s friends: “Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.” — Mark 2:3-4
Healing is movement. Sometimes it begins with a whisper: “Lord, help my unbelief.” Other times, it’s a bold step: “I’m getting up from this place.” Faith is not perfection — it’s action.

Meditation:
Take a moment this morning to reflect:
• Where in your life do you need to step forward?
• What small act of faith can you take today?
• How can you trust that God is moving even when you cannot see the full path?
Breathe deeply. Visualize your heart opening and receiving God’s restoration. Let this thought guide your actions today: healing begins in the heart before it reaches the body.

Daily Inspiration:
“Start each day believing that something wonderful is about to happen.”
African American Quote of the Day:
“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” — Maya Angelou
