Morning Meditation
Sit quietly.
Breathe in… slowly.
Hold…
Release.
Now imagine clearing a space.
Not adding—removing.
Let go of the tension you’ve been holding.
The expectations that no longer fit.
The pressure to carry everything at once.
God often moves where there is room.
Make space.
Even if it feels uncomfortable.

Reflection | Devotional Thought
We often pray for more—
more opportunity, more clarity, more growth.
But rarely do we ask: Where will it go?
Growth requires space.
And sometimes, before God adds, He subtracts.
He removes distractions.
He shifts relationships.
He closes doors we thought we needed.
Not as punishment—
but as preparation.
Pruning is not loss.
It is alignment.
Ask yourself:
- What am I holding onto that no longer serves where I’m going?
- Where is God asking me to release, not accumulate?
- What would it look like to trust the process of letting go?
Making room is an act of faith.
It says:
“I trust what God is bringing more than what I’m holding.”

Morning Prayer
Father God,
Give me the wisdom to release what You are asking me to let go of.
Help me not to cling to what is familiar if it no longer serves Your purpose in my life.
Create space in my mind, my spirit, and my life for what You are doing next.
Teach me to trust the pruning,
to embrace the shift,
and to welcome what You are preparing.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Quote — Jarvus Ricardo Hester
“Growth is not just what you gain—it’s what you’re willing to release.”

Social Overlay — Toni Morrison
“If you want to fly, you have to give up the things that weigh you down.”
